Removing gear case 1963 mercury 65hp

I removed the long bolt that holds the trim tab
I removed the hex cap screw under the trim tab
I removed the 2 - 5/8 nuts on the bottom of the anti vent plate
I loosened the 2 - 5/8 nuts on the top either side of gear case
I removed the 5/8 nut on the very front of the gear case way back in, rounded off by some nitwit

I assume there is a gear shift linkage to remove but I do not know where it is.
At the base of the power head?

That is it? Am I missing anything?

Gearshift linkage is splined and no need to disconnect anything there..------likely the driveshaft is stuck in the crankshaft.----Caused by time and lack of grease.
