Hi, I just got my boat home that I had bought out of state and need to remove the Registration No's. The problem is they are foil backed and don't want to peel off very easy. Was wondering if there is a method that I have missed in removing them without hurting the paint? Any ideas? Thanks S Otte:confused:

How about using a heat gun on say the lower setting?

I've now got an aluminum boat with pearl paint, acetone might do
damage at least strip off the clear coat wouldn't it? There must be
a milder adhesive remover out there?
