That's a good question KIWI MERCMAN asks.<br />If it is working fine now, why bother it?<br />This has been a great debate here on these forums.<br />To un-hook or not to un-hook.<br />I know that the engine is kinda old and you might be worrying about failure all of a sudden, but that is what the warning bells and whistles are for, to let you know you have a problem.<br />Now if the warning devises have quit, I would have them fixes first before I would do anything else, but if you want to do it just to be on the safe side, then follow above mentioned procedure.<br />I myself would leave it hooked up till it showed me some sign that it was not working properly. But that is just my opinion.<br />If you decide to un-hook, just make sure you get the right mixture for your gas in the tank.
