Oh no Chief don't tell me that. Would your family and friends get rid of you if you sprung a leak????????

So from your experience of 44 yrs turning wrenches, get rid of it huh????

I plan to fix the leaks and she will be like new and if the leak can not be fixed then yes a piece of cardboard will be displayed. Knowing that the transom could be rotted and require more work is definately a fear but the leak is so slow and it takes more than 5 days in water to bring water up to oil pan. So, now I trailer her except when we are out and about to ensure no water. If I stay out all day running then less than 2 or 3 gallons of water will appear, so bilge pump can take care of that. I know exactly where it is leaking at and will cross my fingers.
