When all else fails, say a prayer.<br />A boat in the water is not a problem, water in the boat, however, is.

FlyboyMarks method of bolt removal is right on the mark.Using a small acetylene tip, heat the bolt transfering heat down the shank until near cherry red and let cool completely before attempting removal. This is a standard procedure used in industry for years on frozen or binded bolts. While it is not always sucessful,it is the prefered method.

Re: removing tight bolts

I appreciate everyone's help. I managed to get all 14 bolts out, no snapping or stripping, and very little swearing. I was ready with the torch because when I had tested some of the middle bolts for movement, they seemed like they were going to be a challenge. Once I got the coils out of the way and got a ratchet on them, I was able to safely remove them with moderate pressure.

Try some PB Blaster, its honestly the best penitrating oil youll find. Plus it won't dry out rubber hoses or seals like WD-40 will. Goodluck
