So my trim motor is totally shot. I know this because I had it off the motor and man was it bad. So I need a new one. It's an 86 Merc75 with the Design I three ram, side fill trim/tilt system.
The problem is, the most common replacement motor for me is from Arco and it has the pump part on it. My pump didn't come out when I removed the motor to check it out and it turned fine when I inserted an allen key to try it out.
Does anyone know how to get the pump part out of the trim system? Thanks again
