Removing Volvo AQ131. Am I missing anything?

Just want to make sure I am not missing anything. I am replacing the oil pan and gasket on the motor. I have pulled 100s of car engines in all kinds of configurations. So pulling this motor seems pretty straight forward to me. Only real question I have is the transmission. Does it come out with the motor or is it like a car where you unbolt the torque converter from the flywheel? I know all the other basics of pulling a motor. So any insight you can throw on me before I yank this sucker would be appreciated as it will save me the time from having to figure it out on my own.

Thanks

Here are a few pics.

There is no transmission inside the boat. The flywheel cover stays on the engine when the engine is removed.
It's really easy, remove the upper gear box from the outdrive, remove the bellows. You will see 6 bolts with keepers bent over. straighten the keepers and remove the bolts and the ring. Remove the bolts holding the mounts to the stringers, disconnect cables, electrical, and water hose from transom shield and lift engine out.
With the room you have there, it should only take about an hour to remove, they are really easy.
I will post some other pictures and links here shortly.

So you are telling me the outdrive has to be removed? Oh this is not good. The boat can not be removed from the water right now. Is there any way around this?

You could probably take the flywheel cover loose from the engine if you can get to all the bolts, there is nothing but a splined shaft connecting the drive to the engine. You wll have to remove the tin cover in front of the flywheel.

Ok I will go pull the cover Wednesday and hopefully I can get to the bolts as it is the only option I have. This is what I was expecting to do anyway as it is how all the cars are.

Thanks Don
