I just bought a 2004 sea ray 220 select with a wake tower. I'm trying to get the wake board tower to lay down and the bolts are froze up and I can't get them out. I have been spraying with PB blaster since yesterday and nothing is giving. If I try to turn any harder they will just wring off at the head of the bolts. Any suggestions?

I was able to pull the pins and lay the tower forward, but the next set of bolts that have the plastic turn knobs on them are froze up and I can't get them to turn. I have already broken the plastic knobs and don't want to ring off the head of the bolt. Also, I tried loosening the allen head bolts at the top of the roll bar to take the entire top portion of the tower off completely and they are frozen up too. It looks like stainless bolts in aluminum tubing. Any suggestions? If I wring them off will you be able to tap them out?

Heat, a propane torch may not be enough. An acetylene torch may have to be used, BUT VERY CAREFULLY as not to melt the aluminum.

Also try tapping them back and forth if you can get to both ends of the bolt.

Blaster is ok, but the best I have found is Kano Aerokroil..... I have had this penetrate and loosen things when everything else, including heat has failed. Stuff is not cheap, fairly hard to find, but you can buy it direct from the mfg.

Hope this works for you...otherwise I am out of ideas....
