I am planing on using marine penetrol, on the upper, faded fiberglass, on my ProCraft. What should I use to remove the wax. Any other advise would be appreciated.

Re: Removing wax

Try Interlux Fiberglass Wash. This is a cleaner solvent used by boat yards to clean glass prior to repair or waxing. The trick is to use lots of clean rags to remove the wax, not just spead it around.

Re: Removing wax

Any kind of paint thinner, acetone kind of product would work. Any kind of bleach or harsh product would also. Thanks a lot

JAZZ ;)

Re: Removing wax

Acetone will work ;) but don't use paint thinner unless you know what type of paint is under the wax. (if its a molded in jellcoat you will be ok with paint thinner. if you uses a one part paint on it I would not use thinner, if you have a two part paint you should not need it.)

Good LuCK
