Bummer - Packard had some neat cars. And they really ran the range from sleek and stylish to some of 'em so looney that they made sense of the Edsel.
hey i liked the edsel!theres a fellow in town that had about 1/2 dozen of them years ago never could pry one out of him.boy my cedarstrip would look real sweet being towed by the reo.

Nothin' wrong with the Edsel (especially the Bermuda) except the front end styling ...

Very nice stuff Angus, both the 36' and the REO.;)
I love the old trucks and cars and the whole hobby, lots of great people into it.
I have (2) older trucks myself, a 72' I bought out of California 2 years ago and a '66 I bought out of Florida 15+ years ago.
Both are nice drivers...particularly the '72.
I saw a late 30's (very similar to yours) truck up for 'best offer' at the Portland Swap Meet a couple of weeks ago. It was up at the Expo centre and by Sunday (last day) it had a big 'sold' sign on it. I think somebody got a good deal on it. It was all there and running with what appeared to be a pretty simple old paint job, but a very cool lookin' truck...like yours.
Keep us posted on these!!

And it's a great excuse to hang out with your buddies when you can't fish. New tires and brake lines this weekend...
