Repacing a Garmin 451s and the 200/50 transducer?

I want to stick with Garmin, the difference is the old system uses bluecharts, newer Garmins can take navionics.

Is there any way to connect a new garmin to a laptop or iPad to increase screen size on the cheap?

The Garmin STRIKER Vivid 5cv CHIRP ClearVu Fishfinder with GT20-TM Transducer is about 50% the cost of the 7cv. Strangely the one inch makes a difference over 4, but having a bigger screen would be brilliant, if there is a way?

Garmin bought Navioncs a few years back. Guessing the change is more marketing than content
