it is fiberglass and the size of the holes are only about as big as a screw driver. and my garage isnt heated thats why the temp is 30 degress lol

would thompson's water seal work for my 2x4's and plywood to help keep from rotting and and all that stuff water does?

Thompson's Water Seal is junk, it has no real value even on a house deck.
