Repair Manual Needed

I am having trouble locating a repair manual for a 99 Johnson 25 2 stroke. I have looked in the MegaMall at this site, Amazon and Books-A-Million with no luck. The Clymer Manuals seem to stop at 1995 for the Johnson line. Did they not expect any to breakdown after 1995 or did they give up all hope after that?

Can someone point me to a good reference for this outboard?

Hey Shooter,

If you want a good advise on this, make yourself a favor and go the nearest Johnson dealer and get one for your motor. The genuine book is a lot better and has only the information for your motor and no other confusing and not relevant informations, like Clymer or Seloc has.

This is only MPO !

Mario ;)

Ahoy, Shooter.

I really believe that we should patronize our benefactor, here, where possible. You have checked that out.

On the other hand, I agree with Mario. No aftermarket manual comes close to the accuracy and clarity of the OMC Factory manuals.

Your Bombardier/Johnson or Evinrude Dealer can get you the best manual for your needs.

Good luck. :)

Re: Repair Manual Needed

After not finding what I needed at this site I picked up a Seloc today online. That should be enough to get me going and if I have to get more intimate with this engine I will get a shop manual from the dealer.

Thanks for the link Chumbucket.
