Hey guys. P.O./s of my aluminum hull sure did drill a lot of holes and put a bunch of crap in the inside of the hull, like rod holders and all that jazz. I have this stuff called JB water weld, for aluminum. Says it is sandable. Do you guys have any idea what I could use to fill these cosmetic holes so that I can sand and paint over them?

Many people fill those holes with a small rivet.

If the holes are below the water line I would use a rivet, if they are in an area that gets abrasion or flexes I would use a rivet.

Aluminum is SO thin that JB weld will not get sufficient bite and could pop out or get pushed through.

JB weld, JB water weld, PC 11, gray Marine Tex all dry solid and hard and will work.

Okay, well these are all on the inside of the hull, in the rails. All purely cosmetic. So you think I should glob on some JB waterweld from the backside (which is not visible) and fill from the front, then just sand it down?

In the rails.......... Fill them with JB etc. The rails do not flex and are thicker.
