Replace Exhaust Bellows Chaparral

Hello iBoaters, I have a 2001 Chaparral 260ssi, powered with 5.7 L motor with DuoProp Volovo Penta drive. Question is the Exhaust bellows needs to be replaced. All the shops nearby are telling me 4-6 Weeks. Which in MN the season will be almost gone. Can the bellows be replaced without pulling the drive? A few people have said it's doable. Anyone have experience doing so?

I ran with ripped exhaust bellows for two years until my driveshaft bellows needed replacement. Do it during winter layup but would recommend doing the entire transom kit

It is a little louder then normal but not bad a low speeds.
