replace fuel line

16 ft 1985 thundercraft 140 hp merc i o engine bogs when full throttle replaced the water seperator rebuilt fuel pump.rebuilt carb ,changed filter at carb. took it out today ran fine got up to plane then on the way back bogging again i dont know what else to do except change the fuel line maybe its collapsing ? is there a easy way to thread it thu the side hull? some special tool? wire?

Howdy.


After changing the filter, pump and/or carb, you should probably have a look at the fuel pickup screen in the tank and possibly the fuel tank vent.

Either of those will cause "bogging".

ok thanks i will after i replace lines, that nut on top of tank looks very tough to get off, afraid i may break fitting on fiberglass tank. save the hard part for last hope i dont have to lol
