Anyone have any experience with this? Mine is in a 25' grady white and I can barely see any part of the starter, I'm hoping this is doable without lifting the motor....?
hello
yep
been ther done that
sometimes the engine has to lift sometimes I can use a 3ft extension and access the bolts from the front. some hulls you have to remove the exhaust manifold for access. aint boating fun ?
sounds like one that i had. engine bed stringers were a bit to long causing the starter to actually rest on the stringer.pulled motor to change starter and while it was out shortened up the stringer to clear the starter.
