Ok since this got buried in the other thread about the shift linkage , I thought I would start it's own thread.
I have a 1998 60hp evinrude. I just got the motor. It had a weak but solid stream, and was not over heating the trip I took it out on when I purchased it.
Impellor was very old and looked like it had been dry started with the melted parts of the fins. No big deal got the kit replaced everything but the plate as it was not the right one but the impellor and housing were. Put it back togeather and I get an intermittent pulsing stream. I pulled it back apart, tube is going into the housing , the grommet is in the inside of the tube. All parts replaced that came off? Tore it back doen. Fins the right direction, key in right reassemble it and same thing?
This is on a hose, I have weak water pressure but neither my other 60hp or my 150GT have trouble shooting a solid stream?
Here is a video of it.

Any thoughts?
