I have a mercury xr2 150 hp v6 1988 and just replaced oem stator with a Rapair CDI stator, now the tach doesnot work right , It moves alittle but not even close to where it should be. Any ideas???
G'Day. If the tacho moves slightly when the ignition is turned on then it is getting power . Check that you have connected the grey tacho wire to one of the yellow wires from the stator to the rectifier.
