hi, just pulled my lower half apart to put a new water pump kit in and everything went fine its pumping great and all but i am concerned the kit came with all the seals orings etc... but i didnt see one for the top of the drive shaft when i took the bottom half apart nothing came out or was on the shaft but i have an o ring that came with the kit? also the shaft has no groove or anything to mount this too. So i put it back together the way i took it apart. it is an 1986 15 horse evinrude. like i said it is working fine but i am concerned if it needs this oring or it didnt come with one? please help.
