Replaced Yamaha with Mercury.

Had a Yamaha Pro 50, which I had rebuilt, on my 20ft Aquapatio. No problem and ran great. Had the opportunity to get a Merc 60 Bigfoot and rebuilt that.
Way better than the Yamaha. Provides great power and maneuverability at slow speeds at the dock and stronger quieter performance down the pond. Just thought you would like to know guys.

I have a Merc 60 BF also. Replaced an older Johnson 70 (2 stroke).

Man, what a difference. Just as much power but a totally different feel. Plus, this thing uses NO gas. I cannot believe the economy.

Love it.
