I've bought an '08 Avalon LS2000 pontoon (20' x 8'6") and took delivery today. The top on it is original and it's pretty tired. I'm thinking of replacing the material rather than repairing mine (stitching is failing, a couple small tears also).
I've bought several things over the years from Pontoon Stuff--including a complete top for my previous toon. The quality of their Deckmate brand is equal to the top on the Avalon.
My question concerns the fit. They claim the replacement top fits 8' AND 8'6" boats. I'm looking for confirmation from someone who's bought their top fabric--does it really fit both width frames and look good? Do the corners just pull down farther when fitted to an 8' frame?

I can't answer that question, but my '06 Lowe pontoon's bimini tops were made by Dowco. They are an OEM supplier for many manufacturers. My tops still had the part # tag on them and Dowco still makes them.
If yours are a Dowco product, you can still get them most likely.

Dowco, Great Lakes Boat top, Tumac all make canvas for variety of OEM's if the top came from the OEM.

if the top was aftermarket, many are coming from Homful in China/Cambodia/Mexico to be sold on the market (and Amazon)

any local canvas shop can make a new custom fit top
