Hello. New here. I was referred to this site by a friend. Nice place.
I did a search and found a couple of answers to my question but not specific enough, so here goes.
I have a 16ft-1974 easyrider fiberglass with a 25 horse Tihatsu. It was pretty much a free offering to me and has worked well over the past 3 years. I will be keeping it for another year before I buy another one(got to get the new house first). The problem is that the fiberglass floor has a couple of problem areas where it has collasped(fist sized areas). The stringers below it are a little rotted but not too bad. I tore out the carpeting and I am entertaining the idea of putting 3/8 plywood(BC) over the floor and painting it(no carpet going back). I would like to use some sort of glue between the wood floor and the fiberglass.
I only fish about 10 times a year in freshwater. Can I do this and what supplies will I need? Like I said I will be getting rid of it in about a year. I will probably use the motor for my new boat but not much else. I just want her to look a little nicer before I put her out to pasture. Thank you...
