I'm replacing my cracked OMC Chevy 350 block. The casting number is
10054727. A local guy have a 350 block with casting number 14093638 (with 2 bolt main, roller cam). Here's the info from Mortec:
10054727...350...86-up...2 or 4...one piece rear seal, some "Made in Canada"
14093638...350...87-95...2 or 4...Roller or flat tappet cam, one-piece rear seal

Will it be OK with the replacement? Will I need to replace the heads because of changing from flat tappet to roller cam? What about 2 bolt main vs. 4 bolt main, will there be any problem?
Thanks

No Problem,........ They're of the Same Vintage.......

They're possibly Both machined for Either cam,+ lifters.... The Heads don't care what cam is under them......

2 bolt or 4 matters Not ,....
