Engine: 88' V6 200hp

While I have the heads off should I do anything else (besides replacing the head gaskets).

Should I use some quicksilver perfect seal or other product between mating surfaces and the head gasket?

What type of sealant should I use for the head bolts? I was thinking 2-4C grease.

Thanks

Re: Replacing the head gaskets

Put the gasket on dry. Perfect Seal would be the better choice for the threads, but if you don't have it, 2-4-C is fine. I use blue loctite because few customers ever retorque the heads. You definately should after a few trips.
