replacing tilt/trim MOTOR on a 70hp johnson

needed help replacing the trim/tilt motor and took it to a mechanic and they said that I had to remove the motor because there was one screw that's tight between the motor and the transom:faint2:help please?

You can do that or else take the t/t unit off of the mtr and then work on it.

yeah I was just looking at that and I was thinking why not just pull the whole t/t unit off,cause that seems a lot easier,or is it not?

Whenever I had t/t probs I always pulled the unit off. Never have pulled the whole mtr yet. By the way, what's the model # ??
