Information: When I took the boat out saturday i noticed some vibration coming from the lower unit. I removed the lower unit to find that the universal joints seem to be ok, but the bearing was wore out.

Question: Is there anyway to take the bearing out and replace it with a new one without taking anything else apart(transom or engine out). Also what parts are needed for this besides a bearing and new seal.

Thanks

Yes the bearing comes out without removing anything but the drive. Don S has posted links to factory manual.
