With everything else that I'm doing, while the motor is out, I am replacing the ujoints on my driveshaft. They feel good but I am going to do it anyways. I stopped and picked some up at a wholesale truck and equipment store I frequent often. They came with a grease fitting. My old ones did not. I have heard conflicting information on this. Some same it will throw it off balance some say it won't. Should I install these or go with a marine application?

No one? I have another question....... What is the best way to change the ujoints. How do I remove the shaft inside the outdrive? Thanks Doug

You don't have to completely disassemble the upper gear box, but you do have to remove the front of the upper gear box, remove the ujoint shaft, replace the ujoints, reassemble the double bearing box and set the rolling torque, put it back in the upper gear housing (all without loosing shims) and it's all done.
Now the good part. Here is a link to the manual so you can follow all those steps in more detail.

Have no info on your ujoints, because I have no clue what ujoints you bought.
