sweet, I' might give that a go on an old mower I have. No point using it on the outboards, as they have all been stripped and rebuilt recently.......except for the 65hp, it's still being stripped....

lark, do the mower. You'll be pleasantly surprised. Besides, it acts as a starting fluid too, so after you soak it down real good, carb and spark plug hole, and let her sit for a few minutes, it'll probably start on the first pull.

Mine did.

Chunder,

On the carcinogens, didn't see anything in the makeup that you don't already put in your automobile and you can buy lube and fuel for them down under.

May be more of a distribution thing.

I know we tried to get Foster's here for years and thought the Auzzies didn't like us but found out later it was just a distribution thing. 8)

Oops; made a mistake Coors, not Foster's. 8) 8) They couldn't figure out how to get beer from Colorado to Texas and keep it cold in the process.....but that was 40 years ago.

Seriously, they do sell it here but want an arm and a leg for it. Good beer. Have a bottle with my steak at "The Outback" Seak House.

Re: Reply from Seafoam

I use the stuff in all my engines and it does work really well. My best Seafoam story. I had an old Saab 9000 that was running really rough, sounded like it was skipping and had poor power. It started suddenly so I assumed it was bad gas or something that plugged the injectors. I pulled the spark plugs and sprayed Deep Creep in each cylinder and let her sit overnight. I fired it up the next morning and it purred like a kitten, didn't miss a beat. I'm sold on the stuff.

I'm pretty fond of the stuff. I went nuts last week and did my main motor, my kicker, and my weedeater. I can tell you my neighbors were loving me right about then, I had than nice cloud o' smoke going for an hour.

What I did was get my main motor going at about 1500 rpms, and sprayed Deep Creep through each carb until it stumbled and stalled. Then I pulled each plug and shot all six cylinders with Deep Creep and replaced the plugs, and let it set for 30 minutes. Lastly, I took 1 gallon of oil/fuel mix, poured an entire bottle of Seafoam in, and ran my fuel line into the gas can. I let the motor run at 1500 rpms until the gas was gone. The thing just purs now. It starts about the same as before, but it runs more smoothly, little to no shake at all when idling. Did the same thing with the kicker. The weedeater as well. I usually pour a bottle of seafoam in a quarter tank of gas on my truck and Jeep with good results.

Considering the price of gas, pretty soon it will be cheaper to run our vehicles on straight Seafoam... :)
