[ Sorry about beening late to reply. ordered impeller and they sent me the wrong one. Ordered another one and it was the right one. Put it in and took boat to river and it pumped water just fine. Even works with the muffs now. I have a new problem now. after running it down the river about 5 miles it ran great at WOT and even mid throdel. Got back to the dock and the buzzer was sounding. Don't know why because it was pumping water. I shut it off and it would'nt start .For some reason i decided to pull the flywheel and take a look. The stator was black from getting hot. {2} the bottom of the trigger assy was all chewed up and so was the bottom of the bearing cage and the bottom of the flywheel. Looks like the bottom of the flywheel was causing the problem. Is the bottom of the flywheel suppose to touch the crankshaft bearing cage.

Thanks Buda

I'm no expert. Unless you have the wrong flywheel entirely.. (Which I would think the engine wouldn't run)
I would venture a guess the lower plate screws rattled loose. Once it rubbed off the heads of the screws it was all over from there.

Re: Reply to the post for 6 &7 of June

I had an extra flywheel, trigger, crankshaft bearing cage and stator from parts i had before. I put those on an put some tool and dye ink on the bearing cage and put the flywheel on and turn the motor by hand to see if it was touching. Sure enouth it was rubbing. So i took everything back off and took the bearing cage and milled it down about 1/8 inch. put it bact together and checked it NO RUBBING. Tomorrow i'm going to start it up with muffs and see what happens. Thanks guys i appreciate all the help.

Tried to start it today, would'nt start carbs flooded but no gas on the plugs. Was rubbing on the bearing cage but no to bad. This motor has been nothing but a jinx since i bougth it fix one thing an another goes out. Im constandley working on this motor. I think its about time to replace it. Ive got more time and money in this thing than its worth. I want to thank everybody for thier input. Its people like you that makes this a great help site.
