ok, i have an aluminum 11 3/4x17 prop that had a quarter size chunk out of it on the leading edge, from hitting a stick. i patched it with aluminum flashing and jb weld, i cut two small pieces of the flashing and then gobbed jb weld on them and then smashed them together on the prop blade, overlapping the prop blade and spreading it over the outside of the flashing. i let it dry and sanded it down and whala, its fixed! i ran 30 gal of gas through it at wot and it still looks the same as when i put it on. you can barely tell the patch is there.

so for all you guys that cant afford a new prop, "this patch works good".
