Repower 2010 mercury 4 stroke with 2011 Suzuki df150tx

I hope I’m in the right place. I am contemplating repowering my pontoon which has a 90 mercury 4 stroke (2009) with a Suzuki df150.
i was wondering if the controls and steering cables would play nice with one another. I would be getting al of the controls from the Suzuki motor but I am not sure how they mount. Does anyone have any ideas what issues I would have in changing these over?

edit: the throttle control would not come with Suzuki. Could I use the mercury throttle with Suzuki motor?

If the throttle is aftermarket, like a lot of them, it may be compatible. You would need to find the make and model of the control and look it up on the OEM website. See if it fits the Zuke and get the configuration instructions, if it need to be changed.
