required equipment in FL?

Thought i knew it all but the more boats the more questions. Does someone in FL. cg. auxilary, marine police, f&w know what is required onboard. First is a 15 ft. glastron runabout. 2 external 6 gal. gas tanks. Do i need a fire extinguisher and throwable flotation device on board? Same question for boat nbr 2, is a 16 ft. ctr consol with portable tanks. <br /> Boat 3 is a 18 ft. ctr consol with internal tank. That one has a fire extinguisher but do I need to carry a paddle or ore? Am I required to carry an ore on any of these boat? <br /> Seems as if requirements change in the 16 ft. range. thanks fred

I dont rember flordias but been there and was checked here you have to have a fireextinguiher,horn,whistle,and a floation cusion,i do believe a paddel is needed in fl,somebody will be along that knows you could look at the flordia fish and game web page should be something on there.

General rules are:Regesration numbers on side of boat....Fire ext.....PFD for everyone on board and a trowable cushion.....horn or whistle..bow and stern lights.....a paddle....a bail bucket....a flashlight or signal device....a anchor.<br />You need to have your regisration with you. Your bail bucket can be a trash bucket too.
