Or you can get a wall mounted toilet that doesn't touch the ground.

I am very surprised your tile guy didn't anticipate this.

Wall mounted toilets as opposed to floor mount/back flush require special hangers that can cost as much as the toilet and would require major renovations to install.

Save any leftover tiles. If/when you change the throne, the new one may have a different footprint.

Well, I pulled into the driveway at 4:30 yesterday and the plumber was there. I walked in and the throne was gone from the den. So, I took a peek into the bathroom and lo and behold, it was back in its home. No idea what he did, but while he was there the admiral had him replace a pop up drain assembly in the master bath. 88 dollars was the total cost. I think we've found a new plumber. He welds aluminum too and is going to replace a couple of tack welds on the barge for me next time he's in the hood. How bout that, gents? A win for the admiral!:joyous:

The King Of Thrones has a throne again, the Admiral is happy the Throne is back in the Throne Room and you found a boat fixer. I say a win all around!
