I purchased this boat late summer last year and spent most time on mechanicals while trying to enjoy some fishing and tubing
This winter I pulled the 1/2" rotted floor and replaced with 3/4" Marine grade Ply. I used the old floor as a template, because boat was stored in pole barn many miles away. I used Rustoleum Marine Spar Varnish 4 coats top and sides with 3 bottom coats =to thin for my liking ! I reinforced/renewed fiberglass between stringers and throughout bottom.Installed new foam and covered it up with new floor. I tabbed/peanut buttered floor to sides... not original and then fiberglassed floor with 6 oz. mat with another overlay of 4" tabbing. Finished with a resin coat with non slip additive sprinkled on. New Wise Back To Back Lounge seats from Walmart (that's right) free to store shipping and $20. cheaper than any other place I'd found ! I got the motor tuned with new Michigan Wheel 13 x 19.....still need tilt and trim tab adjustments on the 1974 Johnson 115, but first run pulled a respectable 42 mph:happy:Yesterday I wet sanded 2000 grit, swirl polish compound and waxed sides.Weather willing, I will try install of Airguide 665 Tach and Amp Gauges which were not wired last year and finish bottom and top side of boat ! I hope you all enjoy some of the picts. as much as I enjoyed working with her (Ms. MP) Ms. Money Pit/ also initials of my name  Figured most picts are to large . Have to compress or something. This is a start. I will post picts of resto progress once I figure this out .
