Hello all,
I am very glad to find your website. I have just been the proud purchaser of a 3V? I take it? 1970 Apache Mecruiser 160. I was tired of messing up my suburban with putting my 11.5' kayak on top, so I was looking for a trailer, so I could take 3 kayaks. Then I saw this and fell in love.
I had spent a bit of time on a boston whaler back in the 90s, it was really fun, and I hope to get this beaut back in the water (central california) before I get too many more greys. My buddy is a mechanic and is going to help with the rebuild. I have a place to store and just have to move the thing and get started.
So I just wanted to say hi and introduce myself and the project, because I am sure I could use some help, espec. with the fiberglass. Hull seems good (add said it was), but a lot of work needs doin. Hey Tbird, welcome. Looks like you got a lot of work ahead of you. At the top of the page is stickies, the top one is for the tri-hull club, lots of info on the type of boat you have throughout the stickies.

Thank you man. Yeah I I'm envisioning freediving from it looking for jade, halibut, crabbing, and sea bass once in a while. Then again we can always take it to the lake and go wakeboarding a?
So I'm going to plug the engine and put it on a mountain my buddies work. I am looking at rebuild kits for the 250, I will check out these stickies on the engines before obviously doing anything stupid. But we are planning on replacing the carb with fuel injection.
I mean the name alone, the thing is beefcake to me
