I am taking it to the lake on nov-19 which is my birthday.The floor is loose still, so i will move all pieces to truck and check for leaks and mark them with spray paint can,hopefully there will be few.Then again the boat might fill up before i open my first beer!Ill take photos that day as it happens.Then ill put down foam and floor, screws and wiring for helm,then go fish out side the tires of the marina, with my transom mount trolling mtr,for my b-day im turning 40.Im bring some water proof jb weld along with me that says can be applied under water.So ill be rubbing that stuff all over anything that starts gettin wet.ill also have a high output bildge pump hooked up along with two batteries. One more thing,ill be running wood along the inside sides for more stability controling flexing.

I didn't see in your postings what you did to repair the transom.http://forums.iboats.com/attachment.php?attachmentid=60555&d=1279594367 I would check that some one didn't replace the transom board with treated plywood. The console look sharp

the transom is still currently under repair,the plywood looks ok for now.I am just sanding and jbwelding all the little holes and such in aluminum.I have also fixed the new livewell entry port.I have also made a new brace for the knee brace which i will install soon.also waiting to put a truck bed liner roll on substance to the interior of boat hull.

Nice progress JJacobs. We are all on a budget and thats why we share ideas. I would rather spend money on gas to run the boat, but I gotta get it together first. Did you get all the cracks and rivets sealed before the floor was installed? Keep the pics coming.

I am still working on the floor of boat.just put it in to see how it looks.i am going to take to lake before sealing anything to see how bad she is,the good news is the cc is ready and all wired and livewell is ready,and motor is on boat just need minor stuff now and put all the pieces togeather.

this is my newly constructed console with bench seat.what ya think? front seat opens for batterys and rear doors swing and lock closed for safety as well as front seat.cushions are going to be made with velcro attachments so when not in use will be under console for shade.

heres some pics of console being installed in boat,plus i used L bracket fastens with 1/4 bolts ,nuts,washers and locking washers through out.this bad boy wont be coming loose unless i want it too.Also the stern of boat couldnt be any dirtier or ugly right.no worries that will look good in no time.I know that johnson looks sorry but it actually has perfect compression on all 3 cylinders and never left me on the lake so far.

The boat is up and running everyone! i have noticed many people visit this post but dont reply,Will post new pics soon,there no water coming in boat,its awesome ans has hella freeboard.I have never owned a boat that didnt float.

Ohh man. No more pictures, WTH. Just started reading your thread, I love center console boats. Lot's of fishing room. how did you strengthen the console? I going to add angle iron on the inside of my doghouse to beef it up. That way I can use it as a casting platform too.

Sorry you're not feeling the love from the Brohood. There is a ton of restos going. I'm from Michigan and the way I look at other restos is locally first. I start in my home state and work out until I'm full. Your waaaaay out west so I never get to your thread. I just started poking around the Mariner restorations and here I am.

I would really like to pick up a 14' Mariner for my second boat. I've thought about turning my Offshore into a CC also. Good luck J, see ya round buddy.

That boat is a fishing machine, good job on the cc looks like a it just came out of the factory. how is that motor running, those johnssons never die. nice boat sir.

Man is it ever,on the bow it has a casting platform with storage under it, and 2 doors big enough to slide in sleeping bags.Marine stereo,lockable compartments under C.C,Part of the reason i made its layout like this was so its very friendly open areas for my dog too.To power through the coves it has a 24vt 64lbthrust bow mount foot controlled motor guide trolling mtr.The Johnson is running awesome still,nothing i can complain about and i have a big box of xtra parts for it too.To find the fish i installed a humminbird D.I. sonar that is unreel.This boat has taken a beating and still makes a nice smile on my face everytime i walk toward it at the launch ramp. Caution...Still painting though.
