Just another plug for the Penetrol. After reading this thread, I went out and bought a quart at Boat U.S. yesterday, I think I paid about $13.99 for the quart. I had previously gone over the boat with some polishing compound and a power buffer. It removed most of the oxidation but the color still didn't come all the way back. After using the Penetrol, the gelcoat looks almost new again. It does fill in small scratches and makes them almost disappear. I just have to say that this is an awesome product. And it goes on extremely quickly, I won't mind applying it twice a season. Just be sure to not slather too much on at once.

I did same thing as AdmiralQ, ordered it after seeing this thread.<br />I only have to say...unbelievable....this stuff is magic, just wipe it on with a rag, wipe (and I mean wipe, not scrub, buff, etc.) it off, and my hull is just like new.<br /><br />If I have to apply it every 6 months...who cares, it took me 20 minutes for the whole hull (22ft Cruisers Inc), instead of days with a buffer and still have faded paint.<br /><br />RECOMMEND HIGHLY, Triple AAA and FIVE STARS to Penetrol.
