Richmond Times-Dispatch Sep 15, 2006

One of the last flying F-14 Tomcats is coming to the Virginia Aviation Museum today.

Yea BB, watched a show on the DC about them just a while ago.
A true hero, IMO.

Guess it is being replaced by the F18.

Re: Retirement of a veteran

Oh man BB!
Left early am on the 15th for DC. On the afternoon we were going to go there I was just tuckered out so we spent it locally at a marina on the Potomac river. (20th) Just got back a few hours ago.
But I can leave a message for Mrs.Link and her sister in a couple minutes who are still there so they can go take a look.
Thanks
Glad I decieded to chill out before heading to bed and read a little.

OK message left I think... person didn't speak much English as I know it! :)

Great old plane. There will still be some flying in Iran.
