reverse directions 1150hp

How fast reverse directions can go for 1979 150hp 20ft boat?
i'm too new for the boat yesterday take the boat to the lake and test for second times
i noticed reverse directions not make any defrent when i put more throttle into it

what i have to look for thanks

boats do not back fast. it is not the brake.

it just happanning when i put more throttle forward (max) the bulb geting flat
do you think the gas line or the bulb bad?

It is normal if the bulb gets soft, but not to go flat.

Check the vent on the fuel tank and the pickup tube inside the tank.

emty the gas tank put some rock and sake the gas tank untill it clean then emty the rock
clean pickup tube inside the tank

run test yesterday no more bulb geting flat @ WOT

i still have problem hard to start but ide or WOT no problem
i have done clean carb 3 times still no luck
