This is silly, every commercial truck on the planet uses the same style throw out bearings, the same style clutches and transmissions that requires a "blip" on the throttle to get it in gear. All he is saying is that he uses that blip to eliminate jerking and kicking around. He is not hurting ANYTHING, and he is technically safer by saving his brakes a little. Yes, there is some additional wear by actually using the equipment he has paid for, but I challenge any of you to quantify it . . .
