My wife weighs considerably less than I, but if she is on the opposite side of the boat from me the boat rides heavy on her side. I have 2 batteries on her side but I wouldn't think that her weight and batteriers are the cause. Anyone know what else to look at? Could it be because the trim tab on the back of my outdrive is missing?

Unlikely James. Does the boat list even when you're sitting still or only when on plane? If you can, try switching one battery to the other side and see if that helps.

What kind of boat is this?

Re: Rides heavy on one side

18.5' searay seville bowrider. It seems fine until I try to plane. I had my 4 and eight year old sons on my side and only my wife on the other, so I dont believe the batteriers could off set the the weight difference. I am sure my side of the boat is heavier. I may have posted this in the wrong forum. My boat has a i/o mercrusier w/alpha 1 drive. I posted in the mercruiser forum as well. Trim tabs and doelfin have been mentioned on that forum. Thanks for the response. Any help is appreciated.
