Rigging a New Trim Wire Harness Question

I just rigged a new trim wire harness for my boat and came to the realization once everything was in place that I have four wires running out the hull for the TL/TS, but on the inside I only have two wiring harnesses to attach them to. One purple and one blue. How are these wired on the inside. I believe I only have a single solenoid, that I can see. The old wires were so screwed that they literally fell apart in your hand when you touched them. From pics that I took before disassembly, it looks like one of the wires, or maybe two (its really hard to tell) connected behind the negative battery cable post on the block. Am I right in thinking that two wires (one each from the TL/TS) go to the negative and the other two hook up to the blue and purple wire? Which leads me to my next question. My OEM wiring diagram shows the leads going to and out of the TL/TS sensors but it doesn't show +/- terminals. With an OEM harness it would be easy because one has a big loop on the end and the other doesn't. Do the blue and purple wires go to the big loop terminal or to the other terminal on the back of the "sensors".

Re: Rigging a New Trim Wire Harness Question

Maybe this photo will help get an answer. I guess I just wasn't making myself clear enough.

What I'm trying to figure out is where each of the leads go 1 - 2 -3 - 4. I have a blue and purple wire that I am sure two of these numbers go to, just not sure which "number" goes to which connection. And the other two wires I have no idea where they go. Can someone help with this?
