I'm getting about 5900 RPM's at WOT. I should be at the 5400 RPM based on the Manual. It's a ELPTO 90 HP 2005. Current Pitch is 17, don't know diameter. I need to bring down the RPM's so am going to go with a 21 but, don't know what to do about the diameter. What would be the correct diameter for this pitch?

Thanks

Re: Right Prop

Mis-spoke, current prop is a 19. It was from a Force 85 HP motor. I have a little bit of play even though I have the correct thrust washer.

Thanks

Re: Right Prop

Im thinking about a 21 X 13.75 in a stainless, or a 23 in an aluminum. a 14-14.25 or even a 14.5 would be ok if it didnt hit anything. Ebay is the place to buy props.

Just me. Normal use will have me and a buddy fishin. Didn't have all of my gear which I expect will be 50-100pounds. Also Didn't have a 15 HP Kicker on the boat.

I think I would try the prop you have on it with the kicker, your budy and your gear before changing anything......You're gonna lose 200, maybe 300RPM with a load, and even though you may be 200 or so RPM above max (which isn't all bad)you'll have best hole-shot with the 19 loaded, and you can pull back a 100 RPM at cruise..
Try it first, you do not want to go to a 21 and get a max of less than 5400-5500
Keep us posted.
