Re: riptide trolling motor, is it worth the $
I just ordered a 74lb Riptide Power Drive 24V with Autopilot and am excited to get it on my boat. Most of my fishing is in freshwater but will use it occasionally in salt water.<br /><br />I haven't heard anything about needing a special charger for the Riptide but would sure like to know so I can convey this information to the dealer doing the installation.<br /><br />They are indeed a little pricey but I am also considering it as an inexpensive alternative to carrying around a kicker on the transom in the event of an outboard failure. <br /><br />Kevin
