Question for all of you. I have a 1978 galaxie with the merc 260 with the stock log style manifolds.

I need to replace the 3-4" bellows on one side due to cracking. I figure do the right thing, and replace both of them, and check the flappers while I am at it.

Does anyone know the gasket I need? They are stock manifolds I think with Aqua Power risers.

Also, what is the most effective way to get the bolts off of the risers? They look decent, not too corroded, but I figured, you can get a socket in, so use the box end wrench to get them loose. Should I expect to have to use a rubber mallet to get them loose?

Thanks!!

The bolts will either come out easy... or not. ;) The only way to tell is to try.

On the gasket - just make sure to use the OEM graphite gasket - not the aftermarket green paper ones. There is a world of difference in the two.
