Risks Of Having Wireless Camera In The Engine Room?

Thinking about putting a battery-powered Blink outdoor camera in my engine room, for monitoring things when I'm not around. This is a gas-powered boat, and the conventional wisdom says to avoid adding non-marine electronics to such a space because of the risk of detonation.

That rule was already bent by one of the previous owners, who put in a wall outlet to power a storage heater. But I digress.

This camera is weatherproof, and I tend to think that makes it spark-resistant to a certain degree. Although there's still a not-zero chance it could short out, melt, and catch fire. But that's probably true of everything on the boat. What do you think?

That camera is entirely DC powered, and very low voltage. Effectively as close to zero chance of a spark as you could get.
