Rochester 2BBl Carb.

So, on my 4.3 circa 1993. It has a 2 bbl carb on it. It has only two idle screws on it. One screw adjust idle rpms while the other adjusts idle mixture, correct?
It seems like after a while on the water and the the boat is warm, it has a hard time starting. I checked the idle mixture screw and its way out. Now, correct me if im wrong but the further its backed out the richer the mixture gets?

Is your choke opening up all the way?

If it's an electric choke model you can check the choke by:

1)With a cold engine, pull the spark arrestor so you can see the choke plate
2)Turn the key to the run position (not start)
3) Observe the choke...it should open in a timely fashion...1-2 minutes

If it doesn't open well or fully, check for +12V at the choke and then adjust/replace the choke if necessary.

Yup, choke works correctly, gonna run it tomorrow and see if I cant dial it in. A dab of loctite mite do some wonders too, Its backing itself out the more I run it.
