Need to replace my rochester quadrajet 4mv marine carburetor on gm 350 inboard .
Need advice which Edelbrock carburetor will be easy to bolt on and go on 350 standard intake manifold.

Re: rochester carb swap

I changed my Rochester quad to an Edelbrock 1409. Great carb, fits mercruiser controls, electric choke. Lots of boaters love this carb.

Just be aware that you are going from a spread bore to a square bore. You may or may not need an adapter. Depends upon how much "meat" you have to seal around the base of the carb gasket.

Ayuh,.... The Edlebrock is a dual pattern, but I don't know, I've never tried to bolt 1 onto a spread-bore manifold,...

Do you know what adapter I have to use to use on the standard GM 350 ?

Re: rochester carb swap

As I said - you may not need the adapter. The car in my avatar is my 56 Chevy. I have an aluminum Performer intake - which is a spreadbore, and used to have a QJet. I bought an Edelbrock Thunder series carb, (essentially the same as the one you are looking at - only for automobile use), and I did not need an adapter. Every manifold is different. You will probably be fine.... but the only way to make sure is to see if everything is covered and seals.
