Rock guard or wind deflector

I posted in the trailer section looking for some idea's on a rock guard for a runabout of mine that will be going on a long trip where the road conditions will be less that stellar.

Anyways I started to think if or why there is not something like this for pontoons boat and trailer. It is not the protection against rock damage as much but more of a good wind deflector to help with the drag/fuel mileage of the tow vehicle.

Living in Calgary, you must have seen the guards on snowmobile trailers. I would measure some of thoes, and start designing something larger.

But from what I have heard they 1. Don't work that well 2. Create a lot of drag on the tow vehicle
